If you found yourself near any university campus in the past two weeks, you've likely noticed the annual migration of students back to campus. In the spirit of academia starting up again, we've found ourselves re-visiting National Lampoon's all-time classic, Animal House (1978). While it's often praised for it's endless supply of charming humour, we being ourselves, also appreciate the movie for its costuming. Set in the 60s, there are endless examples of midcentury americana tailoring. Between flannel and corduroy three-piece suits cut in the Ivy tradition, tab collar dress shirts, colourful madras jackets, and garish plaid golf pants, Animal House (1978) is just as effective in communicating Ivy style as it is its comedy. Check out a selection of our favourite looks below and get inspired for the upcoming fall season.
